Unreal sensation

BloodHound: Guitars

Position: 35 out of 36 (9 were disqualified for not following the rules)

This is a heavy rock song with a bit of blues guitar. The experience was real (night time in the desert on the train). The sensation was unreal. Something everybody must try some time.

It got zero votes but many honorable mentions. Check out the title for next month's comp.

Rough Devide April '03

Free-for-all

BloodHound: Acoustic, fake acoustic and electric guitars

Position: 36 out of 48

This was an experiment with acoustic guitars. Many gave it good reviews, but it did not get many votes. The general standard of entries were very high. The most honest comments said it was not going anywhere. I'm not too happy with this one. It was good experimentation, but not to a competition standard. My re-mix of Love Songs is a more successfull attempt in experiementing with accoustic guitars, taking the lessons I learned here further.

Fantasy March '03

Free-for-all

Position: 19 out if 43

BloodHound: Guitar

This one did a lot better. Same position on the charts as Feb., but there were many more entries. It got a number of positive comments about the guitar solo.

80's Love Songs February '03

Eighties

Position: 19 out of 21

BloodHound: Guitar, Keyboards

This was my first serious entry. The cheesy synths are there as a requirement. It received various positive comments, but few votes. The song is built up from a catchy piano opening motive with a number of motives from the 80's around it.

I re-mixed this song. Check out the proper version in my Dog-on-Blues album section.

Summer Hop February '03

Hip Hop re-submission

BloodHound: Guitar

Well, I felt bad about joking at the artist previously known as Poweruser's expense, so I made a new song. It was disqualified 'cause re-submissions are not allowed.

KvR Hop February '03

Hip Hip

Vocals: BloodHound

I did this just for the fun. It was awful. The only comment from VitaminD was "What the fuck was he thinking when he wrote this".

On your Own January '03

Most metel competition

BloodHound: Guitar & vocals

This was my first KvR entry. Did not really get anywhere, not did it receive any votes or honourable mentions. It got a few positive comments for the catchy riff.
